New Kiddos for to Love

When I renewed my contract with The Learning Network I decided to sign up for a very different schedule - last year I was working out of the Joy School, a private school with ages nursery to P6. This year I am working out of a language center where I teach afterschool and weekend programs. On the weekends I have 3 classes with ages ranging from 5 to 11 and I teach two nights a week afterschool with 12-14 year olds in our "Alternative English" program. I also have two private students, a brother and sister, where I go to their house once a week for lessons. The change was a bit of an adjustment at first, but I have definitely enjoyed the challenge and find myself feeling more confident and expressive as a teacher. And, of course, I already completely love my students and have enjoyed getting to know each of them!! Every week seems to bring something new, and it has reaffirmed my passion for education and creativity. Here are some random shots of an average day at work... the best job in the world.
